Forms and lead capture
Updated 8 Sept 2026
CaterCloud Forms let you capture leads and enquiries from your website. Submissions create contact records and can trigger sequences automatically.
Creating a form
- Go to Forms → New Form
- Give it a name (e.g. "Event Enquiry Form", "Corporate Catering Request")
- Add fields from the left panel: text, email, phone, dropdown, date, file upload
- Mark required fields with the toggle
- Set a thank-you message shown after submission
- Optionally set a post-submission sequence — auto-enrols the contact on submit
- Click Publish
Embedding a form
Published forms have an embed code. Copy it from Forms → [form name] → Share and paste into your website's HTML.
Alternatively, share the direct link (e.g. yoursite.catercloud.io/f/event-enquiry) for a standalone form page.
Form submissions
Submissions appear in Forms → [form name] → Submissions. Each submission:
- Creates or updates a contact record
- Appears in the contact's activity feed
- Triggers any attached sequence
Notifications
Go to Forms → [form name] → Settings → Notifications to set email alerts for new submissions. Multiple email addresses supported.
Conditional logic (advanced)
Show or hide fields based on previous answers. For example: show "Number of guests" only if the event type is "Wedding". Set this up in the form builder under Logic.
Instant Quote forms
A special form type that presents the contact with a live quote based on their answers. Configure at Settings → Instant Quoting.
