Why Aren't My Packages Showing in My Instant Quote Widget?

If a package you've created isn't appearing for clients in your live instant quote widget, there are a few common configuration issues to check. This guide is for anyone who has already set up an instant quote widget and is troubleshooting a missing package.

Check Whether the Package Is Excluded from the Widget

Each widget can be configured to hide specific packages, even if those packages are otherwise active.

• Open your widget's settings and look for an Excluded Packages or similar section.
• If the package appears in an exclusion list (controlled by an excludedPackageIds setting), remove it to make it visible again.
• Save your changes and test the widget in a fresh browser tab.

Check Whether the Package's Menu Is Included in the Widget

Widgets only display packages that belong to menus explicitly selected in the widget's configuration.

• Review the Menus or Menu Selection setting within your widget's config.
• Confirm that the menu containing your package is listed and selected.
• If the menu is missing from the selection, add it and save.

Check Whether the Parent Menu Is Published and Active

Even if a menu is included in the widget's configuration, packages won't appear if the menu itself isn't live.

• Navigate to your Menus section and locate the menu that contains the missing package.
• Confirm the menu's status is set to Published (or Active — the label may vary).
• If the menu is in draft or archived status, publish it and allow a moment for the widget to refresh.

Still Not Showing?

If you've confirmed all three of the above and the package still isn't appearing:

• Double-check that the package itself is active and not archived.
• Clear your browser cache or test in an incognito window to rule out a cached version of the widget.
• Contact CaterCloud support with your widget ID and package name for further investigation.
