Integrations — Xero, Square, Stripe

CaterCloud connects to accounting (Xero), payment processing (Stripe and Square), and other tools.

Xero

Connect Xero to automatically sync invoices and payments.

1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Xero
2. Click Connect to Xero and authorise in the Xero login window
3. Select your Xero organisation
4. Map your CaterCloud income account to a Xero account code (default: 200 — Sales)
5. Click Save

After connecting, confirmed invoices push to Xero automatically. Payments recorded in CaterCloud also sync to Xero.

To disconnect: go to Settings → Integrations → Xero → Disconnect.

Stripe

Accept card payments via Stripe payment links on invoices.

1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Stripe
2. Click Connect with Stripe and complete Stripe's onboarding (takes ~5 minutes)
3. Once approved, invoices will include a Pay Now link

Stripe payments are deposited directly to your bank account (minus Stripe fees). CaterCloud does not hold funds.

Square

Accept card payments via Square.

1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Square
2. Click Connect with Square and authorise
3. Select your Square location
4. Invoices will include a Pay via Square link

If both Stripe and Square are connected, Square is used by default. Change the default in Settings → Business → Default Payment Provider.

MessageMedia (SMS)

SMS sequences and notifications are sent via MessageMedia (Australian numbers).

1. Go to Settings → Integrations → SMS
2. Enter your MessageMedia API key and sender name
3. Test with a test message

SMS is billed by MessageMedia per message — CaterCloud does not mark up SMS costs.
