Website builder

CaterCloud includes a simple website builder so you can publish a professional online presence without needing a separate website.

Enabling the website

Go to Settings → Website and toggle Enable Website. Your site is published at a CaterCloud subdomain (e.g. yourname.catercloud.io).

Editing the website

1. Go to Website → Edit (or the Website section in your sidebar)
2. Use the AI chat interface: type what you want (e.g. "Update the hero text to say 'Sydney's Premier Catering Service'") and Claude makes the changes
3. Preview changes in real time
4. Click Publish when satisfied

What the website includes

• Hero — headline, tagline, and call-to-action button
• About — your story and what makes you different
• Menu — showcase selected menu items or packages
• Gallery — photos from your events
• Enquiry form — linked to a CaterCloud Form
• Contact details — phone, email, address

Custom domain

To use your own domain (e.g. www.mybusiness.com.au), go to Settings → Website → Custom Domain and follow the DNS setup instructions. DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate.

SEO

Edit your page title, meta description, and social preview image in Website → SEO Settings.

The AI editor

The website editor uses Claude AI — describe what you want in plain English. Examples:

• "Change the background colour to deep teal"
• "Add a section about our corporate catering experience"
• "Make the hero button say 'Get a Free Quote'"
